Crested Butte ~ Where the air is thin, high in the mountains at Crested Butte, Colorado, I spent most of a July 2014 week with old/new friends enjoying the diverse wildflower landscape. The floral bouquet at 11K feet was heavenly, often with entire hillsides carpeted with nature's prolific colors for as far as the eye could see. After our walks we would relish in a soothing hot tub, then later dine at one of the many fine restaurants nearby.
